This Session will:
- Show how co-laboring is the best way to learn anything
- Present six advantages that co-laboring has over mere classroom instruction
- List four benefits that will be reaped by the teacher who commits to training others
- Introduce the discipleship procedures along with real examples,
one of which is how Jesus trained his twelve disciples (from Luke 8 - 10)
- Study Ephesians 4:11-16 to see how training people will strengthen the local church
- Point out that co-laboring can be applied to virtually any church ministry

Teaching Essentials (Part One) (11:30 to 12:30)
This Session will examine:
- How to build lessons that are Bible-Based (2 Timothy 3:14-4:4)
- How to build lessons that are Purpose-Driven and Orderly
- How to pass these skills on to a trainee while co-planning a lesson
- How to adapt these guidelines to suit your particular style

This Session will examine:
- What is Learning: Eight Student Responses (from Psalm 119)
- How to build lessons that are Learner-Friendly
- How to effectively use a variety of popular teaching techniques
- How to pass these skills on to a trainee while co-planning a lesson
- How to adapt these guidelines to suit your particular style

The Training Procedures (3:30 to 4:30)
This Session will walk the prospective trainer step-by-step through the training activities:
- Coordinating with the church leaders
- Assessing the Variations that allow for program flexibility
- Recruiting a Trainee
- Meetings held with the trainee before the beginning of the teaching term
- The Weekly Routine (co-planning lessons and co-teaching the class)
- Realistic Expectations
